'Ended' in the Bible

As soon as the seven years of abundance throughout the land of Egypt ended,

The border proceeded north to the edge of Ekron, then curved to Shikkeron and on to Mount Baalah, proceeding then to Jabneel, where the boundary ended at the sea.

It proceeded from Janoah to Ataroth, then to Naarah, then proceeded to Jericho and ended at the Jordan River.

When Naomi observed Ruth's determination to travel with her, she ended the conversation.

The harvest is past, the summer has ended, and we haven't been delivered.
