'Envious' in the Bible

He had flocks of sheep, herds of cattle, and many slaves, and the Philistines were envious of him.

And Rachel seeth that she hath not borne to Jacob, and Rachel is envious of her sister, and saith unto Jacob, 'Give me sons, and if there is none -- I die.'

As a result, his brothers became more envious of him. But his father kept thinking about all of this.
