'Gave' in the Bible

You gave him dominion over the work of your hands, you put all things under his feet:

He asked life from you, and you gave it to him a long life for ever and ever.

He caused the rocks to split in the wilderness, and gave them water as from an abundant sea.

He gave their crops to caterpillars and what they worked for to locusts.

In a pillar of cloud he spoke to them; they obeyed his decrees and the Law that he gave them.

He gave to them the land of nations; they inherited the labor of other people

The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but he gave the earth to human beings.

and he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to his people Israel.
