Even the foolish man, when he keeps quiet, is taken to be wise: when his lips are shut he is credited with good sense.
He who keeps himself separate for his private purpose goes against all good sense.
A foolish man has no pleasure in good sense, but only to let what is in his heart come to light.
When the wicked man comes [to the depth of evil], contempt [of all that is pure and good] also comes,And with inner baseness (dishonor) comes outer shame (scorn).
It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
The heart of the man of good sense gets knowledge; the ear of the wise is searching for knowledge.
A man’s stomach will be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth;He will be satisfied with the consequence of his words.
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.
Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
Good living beseemeth not a fool; how much less for a servant to have rule over princes.
Good sense and discretion make a man slow to anger,And it is his honor and glory to overlook a transgression or an offense [without seeking revenge and harboring resentment].
House and wealth are a heritage from fathers, but a wife with good sense is from the Lord.
One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the Lord,And He will repay him for his good deed.
A good-for-nothing witness makes sport of the judge's decision: and the mouth of evil-doers sends out evil like a stream.
The purpose in the heart of a man is like deep water, but a man of good sense will get it out.

It is a joy to the good man to do right, but it is destruction to the workers of evil.
The wicked become a ransom for the righteous,And the treacherous in the place of the upright [for they fall into their own traps].
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
The good of eye -- he is blessed, For he hath given of his bread to the poor.
The morsel which you have eaten you shall vomit up, and lose your good words.
Get for yourself that which is true, and do not let it go for money; get wisdom and teaching and good sense.
Through [skillful and godly] wisdom a house [a life, a home, a family] is built,And by understanding it is established [on a sound and good foundation],

But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.
The sluggard is wiser in his own estimation than seven people who respond with good sense.

It is good generally for a country where the land is worked to have a king.
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.

When times are good, be joyful; when times are bad, consider this: God made the one as well as the other, so people won't seek anything outside of his best.
These two have I seen in my life which is to no purpose: a good man coming to his end in his righteousness, and an evil man whose days are long in his evil-doing.
It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.

And I have praised mirth because there is no good to man under the sun except to eat and to drink, and to rejoice, and it remaineth with him of his labour the days of his life that God hath given to him under the sun.
All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
A wise person's good sense protects him, but a fool's lack of sense leaves him vulnerable.
In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
Sweet also is the light, And good for the eyes to see the sun.
And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

Say ye to the righteous, that it is good, Because the fruit of their doings they eat.
He broke up the soil, cleared it of stones,and planted it with the finest vines.He built a tower in the middle of itand even dug out a winepress there.He expected it to yield good grapes,but it yielded worthless grapes.
What more could I have done for My vineyardthan I did?Why, when I expected a yield of good grapes,did it yield worthless grapes?
Those who accumulate houses are as good as dead, those who also accumulate landed property until there is no land left, and you are the only landowners remaining within the land.
By the weapons of Jehovah of Hosts Do not many houses a desolation become? Great and good without inhabitant!
Those who get up early to drink beer are as good as dead, those who keep drinking long after dark until they are intoxicated with wine.
Those who pull evil along using cords of emptiness are as good as dead, who pull sin as with cart ropes.
