'Helpless' in the Bible

The people cry out, "We have heard reports about them! We have become helpless with fear! Anguish grips us, agony like that of a woman giving birth to a baby!

Why are You like a helpless man,like a warrior unable to save?Yet You are among us, Yahweh,and we are called by Your name.Don’t leave us!

At the sound of the stomping hooves of his stallions,the rumbling of his chariots,and the clatter of their wheels,fathers will not turn back for their sons,because they will be utterly helpless

In the shadows of the walls of Heshbon those trying to escape will stand helpless. For a fire will burst forth from Heshbon. Flames will shoot out from the former territory of Sihon. They will burn the foreheads of the people of Moab, the skulls of those war-loving people.
