'Land's' in the Bible

In the course of time Cain presented some of the land’s produce as an offering to the Lord.

Later, he sent a dove out from the ark to see whether the water that covered the land's surface had completely receded,

" 'Surely on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, at your gathering the land's produce, you shall hold Yahweh's festival for seven days; on the first day [there shall be] a rest period and on the eighth day a rest period.

And your strength shall be consumed {in vain}; and your land shall not give its produce, and the land's trees shall not give their fruit.

“Every tenth of the land’s produce, grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.

they came to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the sons of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh, and brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the land’s fruit.

I have now brought the first of the land’s produce that You, Lord, have given me.You will then place the container before the Lord your God and bow down to Him.

Whirring insects will take possession of all your trees and your land’s produce.

They replied to Joshua and said, “Because your servants were told in no uncertain terms that the Lord your God commanded His servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the land’s inhabitants before you, we feared greatly for our lives because of you, and so we did this [deceptive] thing.

Joshua said, "Now the allotment for the tribe of the descendants of Judah, allocated according to their families, will extend to the border of Edom, southward to the wilderness of Zin until land's end,

David and the whole Israelite army advanced to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus). (The Jebusites, the land's original inhabitants, lived there.)

“The Lord your God is with you, isn’t He? And hasn’t He given you rest on every side? For He has handed the land’s inhabitants over to me, and the land has been subdued before the Lord and His people.

When I close up the sky so that it doesn't rain, or command locusts to devour the land's vegetation, or send a plague among my people,

All of this fulfilled what the LORD had predicted through Jeremiah. And so the land enjoyed its Sabbaths, and the length of the land's desolation lasted until a 70-year long Sabbath had been completed.

We will bring a loaf from our first batch of dough to the priests at the storerooms of the house of our God. We will also bring the firstfruits of our grain offerings, of every fruit tree, and of the new wine and oil. A tenth of our land’s produce belongs to the Levites, for the Levites are to collect the one-tenth offering in all our agricultural towns.

For this is what the Lord says:Look, I am slinging outthe land’s residents at this timeand bringing them such distressthat they will feel it.

Then he took some of the land’s seedand put it in a fertile field;he set it like a willow,a plant by abundant waters.
