'Lived' in the Bible

Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem, and once again he went out among the people from Beer-sheba to the hill country of Ephraim and brought them back to Yahweh, the God of their ancestors.

They have lived in the land and have built You a sanctuary in it for Your name and have said,

He lived like the kings of Israel, following the example of Ahab's dynasty, since he had married Ahab's daughter, and he practiced what the LORD considered to be evil.

"This is what the LORD God of your ancestor David says: "You haven't lived like your father Jehoshaphat and like King Asa of Judah. Instead, you have lived like the kings of Israel by causing Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit cultic sexual immorality just like Ahab's dynasty did! And you've killed your brothers who were better than you your own father's dynasty!

The Lord stirred up against Jehoram the Philistines and the Arabs who lived beside the Cushites.

Eventually, Jehoiada grew old and died at the age of 130 years, after having lived a full life.

And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.

That's how the LORD delivered Hezekiah, as well as those who lived in Jerusalem, from Assyria's King Sennacherib and all his forces, and provided for all of their needs.

So Hilkiah and those the king had designated went to the prophetess Huldah, the wife of Shallum son of Tokhath, son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem in the Second District. They spoke with her about this.

The temple servants lived on Ophel; Ziha and Gishpa supervised the temple servants.

As for the farming settlements with their fields:Some of Judah’s descendants lived in Kiriath-arba and its villages,Dibon and its villages, and Jekabzeel and its villages;

The descendants of Benjamin lived from Geba to Michmash, Aija, Bethel and its villages,

At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sent for the Levites wherever they lived and brought them to Jerusalem to celebrate the joyous dedication with thanksgiving and singing accompanied by cymbals, harps, and lyres.

The people from Tyre who lived there were bringing fish and all kinds of merchandise and were selling it on the Sabbath to the people of Judah -- and in Jerusalem, of all places!

I'll make sure that you go straight to the Pit, into the lowest part of the earth, where you'll be with people who lived in ancient times. You'll keep company there with the dead, who have gone into the Pit. As a result, your city won't be inhabited. Meanwhile, I will display my glory in the land of the living.

All the birds of the skynested in its branches,and all the animals of the fieldgave birth beneath its boughs;all the great nations lived in its shade.

They too descended with it to Sheol, to those slain by the sword. As its allies they had lived in its shade among the nations.
