'Long' in the Bible
After a long time, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned because of their difficult labor, and they cried out; and their cry for help ascended to God because of the difficult labor.
And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.
And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
It came between the Egyptian and Israelite forces. The cloud was there in the darkness, yet it lit up the night. So neither group came near the other all night long.
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
“They are to make an ark of acacia wood, 45 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high.
Make a mercy seat of pure gold, 45 inches long and 27 inches wide.
“You are to construct a table of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high.
Every curtain is to be twenty-eight cubits long and four cubits wide, all of the same measure.
Each curtain shall be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide. The eleven curtains shall all measure the same.
Each board is to be ten cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.
And thou shalt make an altar of shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.
And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:
And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
Make the hangings of the courtyard on the west side 75 feet long, including their 10 posts and 10 bases.
The hangings for the one section are to be fifteen cubits long, with their three pillars and three sockets.
On the second side there are to be hangings twenty-two and a half feet long, with their three posts and their three bases.
For the gate of the court there shall be a screen [to provide a covering] of twenty cubits, of blue, purple, and scarlet fabric and finely woven [embroidered] linen, the work of an embroiderer, with four pillars and four [base] sockets.
The open space is to be a hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, with sides five cubits high, curtained with the best linen, with bases of brass.
These are the garments which they shall make: a breastpiece and an ephod [for the breastpiece] and a robe and a tunic of checkered work, a turban, and a sash. They shall make sacred garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, so that he may serve as a priest to Me.
It must be square and folded double, nine inches long and nine inches wide.
“You shall weave the tunic of checkered work of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of an embroiderer.
“For Aaron’s sons you shall make tunics and sashes and [ornamental] caps, for glory and honor and beauty.
Then you shall take the garments, and put on Aaron the tunic and the robe of the ephod and the ephod and the breastpiece, and wrap him with the skillfully woven sash of the ephod;
It must be square, 18 inches long and 18 inches wide; it must be 36 inches high. Its horns must be of one piece.
When the people saw that Moses took a long time to come down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and told him, "Come here and make us a god who will go before us, because, as for this fellow Moses who led us out of the land of Egypt, we don't know what has become of him."
And whenever Moses went into the Tent, the pillar of cloud came down, and took its place by the door of the Tent, as long as the Lord was talking with Moses.

Then hemade the court. On the south side the hangings for the court were made of fine woven linen, 100 cubits long.
The north side was 100 cubits long, and its 20 pillars and 20 sockets were made of bronze, and the hooks of the pillars and their bands were made of silver.
For the west side there were hangings 50 cubits long with their ten pillars and ten sockets. The hooks of the pillars and their bands were made of silver.
The hangings for one section were fifteen cubits long, with their three pillars and three sockets,
and also for the second section. On either side of the gate of the court were hangings of fifteen cubits long with their three pillars and three sockets.
The screen for the gate of the courtyard was embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen. It was 30 feet long, and like the hangings of the courtyard, 7½ feet high.
They made the breastpiece square and folded double, nine inches long and nine inches wide.
