'Passover' in the Bible

On the first day of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus with the question, "Where shall we make preparations for you to eat the Passover?"

"Go into the city," He replied, "to a certain man, and tell him, 'The Teacher says, My time is close at hand. It is at your house that I shall keep the Passover with my disciples.'"

The disciples did as Jesus directed them, and got the Passover ready.

It was now two days before the Passover and the feast of Unleavened Bread, and the High Priests and Scribes were bent on finding how to seize Him by stratagem and put Him to death.

On the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread--the day for killing the Passover lamb--His disciples asked Him, "Where shall we go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?"

and whatever house he enters, tell the master of the house, 'The Rabbi asks, Where is my room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples?'

So the disciples went out and came to the city, and found everything just as He had told them; and they got the Passover ready.

Also during the meal He took a Passover biscuit, blessed it, and broke it. He then gave it to them, saying, "Take this, it is my body."

Now His parents used to go up year by year to Jerusalem at the Feast of the Passover.

Meanwhile the Festival of the Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching,

When the day of the Unleavened Bread came--the day for the Passover lamb to be sacrificed--

Jesus sent Peter and John with instructions. "Go," He said, "and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it."

He had him arrested and lodged in jail, handing him over to the care of sixteen soldiers; and intended after the Passover to bring him out again to the people.

Through faith he instituted the Passover, and the sprinkling with blood so that the destroyer of the firstborn might not touch the Israelites.
