'Quiet' in the Bible
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls.
The crowd told them to keep quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”
But Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”
And in the morning, a long time before daylight, he got up and went out to a quiet place, and there he gave himself up to prayer.
So he got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Be quiet! Calm down!" Then the wind stopped, and it was dead calm.
Because he had frequently been prisoned in chains and iron bands, and the chains had been parted and the bands broken by him: and no man was strong enough to make him quiet.
And he said to them, Come away by yourselves to a quiet place, and take a rest for a time. Because there were a great number coming and going, and they had no time even for food.
Many people told him to keep quiet, but he was crying out all the more, “Have mercy on me, Son of David!”
But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?"
But Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be quiet and come out of him!”And throwing him down before them, the demon came out of him without hurting him at all.
And those in the good earth are those who, having given ear to the word, keep it with a good and true heart, and in quiet strength give fruit.
The Apostles, on their return, related to Jesus all they had done. Then He took them and withdrew to a quiet retreat, to a town called Bethsaida.
And after the voice was gone they saw that Jesus was by himself. And they kept quiet, and said nothing at that time to anyone of the things which they had seen.
Then those in front told him to keep quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd told Jesus, "Teacher, tell your disciples to be quiet."
He replied, "I tell you, if they were quiet, the stones would cry out!"
And having returned they prepared aromatic spices and ointments, and remained quiet on the sabbath, according to the commandment.
Now the place in the book where he was reading was this: He was taken, like a sheep, to be put to death; and as a lamb is quiet when its wool is being cut, so he made no sound:
He motioned to them with his hand to be quiet, and then he told them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. He added, "Tell this to James and the brothers." Then he left and went somewhere else.
The whole group kept quiet and listened to Barnabas and Paul while they explained all the miraculous signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.
And when the chief secretary had got the people quiet, he said, Men of Ephesus, is any man without knowledge that the town of Ephesus is the keeper of the holy place of the great Diana, who was sent down from Jupiter?
Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
And when he let him do so, Paul, from the steps, made a sign with his hand to the people, and when they were all quiet, he said to them in the Hebrew language,
When they heard him speaking to them in Hebrew, they became even more quiet, and he continued:
Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,
Now those things which were put down in writing before our time were for our learning, so that through quiet waiting and through the comfort of the holy Writings we might have hope.
But if there is no one to give the sense, let him keep quiet in the church; and let his words be to himself and to God.
But if a revelation is given to another who is seated near, let the first be quiet.
the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not authorized to speak, but are to take a subordinate place, as the Law says.
But if we are troubled, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which takes effect through your quiet undergoing of the same troubles which we undergo:

Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to work in quiet fashion and eat their own bread.
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
And that women may be dressed in simple clothing, with a quiet and serious air; not with twisted hair and gold or jewels or robes of great price;

By this we will know [without any doubt] that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart and quiet our conscience before Him
