'Rubbed' in the Bible

Any clay vessel it is boiled in must be broken, and if it was boiled in a bronze vessel, then that vessel must be rubbed out and rinsed in water.

And he will have the house rubbed all over inside, and the paste which is rubbed off will be put out into an unclean place outside the town:
