'Stop' in the Bible

Little children, we must stop expressing love merely by our words and manner of speech; we must love also in action and in truth.

Dear friends, stop believing every spirit. Instead, test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

For this reason, when I come I will call attention to what he is doing in spreading false charges against us. And not content with that, he refuses to receive the brothers. He even tries to stop those who want to accept them and throws them out of the church.

Each of the four living creatures had six wings; they were covered with eyes around and inside. Day and night they never stop, saying:Holy, holy, holy,Lord God, the Almighty,who was, who is, and who is coming.

The rest of the people, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands to stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which are not able to see, hear, or walk.
