'Struck' in the Bible

"If your people Israel be struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you, and shall turn again and confess your name, and pray and make supplication before you in this house;

and the men of Judah gave the battle cry. As the men of Judah gave the battle cry, the Lord struck down Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.

Then Abijah and his people struck them with a mighty blow, and 500,000 choice men of Israel were killed.

Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah: and the LORD struck him, and he died.

The Lord struck down the Cushites before Asa and Judah. The Cushites fled,

And they struck all the cities around Gerar, for the fear of Yahweh was upon them. And they plundered all the cities, for there was much plunder in them.

They also struck down those who owned livestock, and they carried away large numbers of sheep and camels. Then they returned to Jerusalem.

But the people of the land struck down all who conspired against King Amon. And the people of the land made his son Josiah king in his place.
