But some of the scribes were sitting there, thinking to themselves:
Right away Jesus understood in His spirit that they were thinking like this within themselves and said to them, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?
But they have no root in themselves; they are short-lived. When pressure or persecution comes because of the word, they immediately stumble.
So they went away in the boat by themselves to a remote place,
Send them away, so they can go into the surrounding countryside and villages to buy themselves something to eat.”
They were discussing among themselves that they did not have any bread.
After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John and led them up on a high mountain by themselves to be alone. He was transformed in front of them,
They kept this word to themselves, discussing what “rising from the dead” meant.
They began to argue among themselves: “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’
“But those tenant farmers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours!’
Later, He appeared to the Eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table. He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who saw Him after He had been resurrected.
