'Thinking' in the Bible
The Lord saw that the wickedness (depravity) of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil continually.
That's why Sarah laughed to herself, thinking, "After I'm so old and my husband is old, too, am I going to have sex?"
Abimelech also asked Abraham, "What could you have been thinking when you did this?"
