'Thronging' in the Bible

and he went away with him. And there was following him a great multitude, and they were thronging him,

And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

because he had an only daughter about twelve years old, and she was dying. And in his going away, the multitudes were thronging him,

Now as the crowds were increasing [in number], He began to say, “This [present] generation is a wicked generation; it seeks a sign (attesting miracle), but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah [the prophet].

Even with words like these they had difficulty in preventing the thronging crowd from offering sacrifices to them.
