To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

to understand a proverb and an expression, words of wisdom and their riddles.

If you will turn (repent) and give heed to my reproof, behold, I [ Wisdom] will pour out my spirit upon you, I will make my words known to you.

Then will they call upon me [Wisdom] but I will not answer; they will seek me early and diligently but they will not find me.

But whoso hearkens to me [Wisdom] shall dwell securely and in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or dread of evil.

So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honor when you embrace her.

Hold on to instruction, do not let it go! Guard wisdom, because she is your life!

My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

During your travels wisdom will lead you; she will watch over you while you rest; and when you are startled from your sleep, she will commune with you.

The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Every sane man works according to wisdom: but the fool shall manifest his folly.
