When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it; then he made an announcement: “There will be a festival to the Lord tomorrow.”

When the Israelis heard that announcement, the entire community of the Israelis gathered together at Shiloh in preparation for war.

His announcement was, "There is One coming after me mightier than I--One whose sandal-strap I am unworthy to stoop down and unfasten.

But because you did not believe my announcement, which will be fulfilled at its proper time, you will become silent and unable to speak until the day this happens."

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen in accordance with the announcement made to them.
