'Forgot' in the Bible

Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.

You ignored the Rock who gave you birth;you forgot the God who gave birth to you.

The Israelites did what was evil in the Lord’s sight; they forgot the Lord their God and worshiped the Baals and the Asherahs.

But they forgot the Lord their God, so He handed them over to Sisera commander of the army of Hazor, to the Philistines, and to the king of Moab. These enemies fought against them.

They forgot what He had done,the wonderful works He had shown them.

They soon forgot His worksand would not wait for His counsel.

They forgot God their Savior,who did great things in Egypt,

Through their dreams that they tell one another, they plan to cause My people to forget My name as their fathers forgot My name through Baal worship.

When they had pasture,they became satisfied;they were satisfied,and their hearts became proud.Therefore they forgot Me.
