'Smolder' in the Bible

God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?

He looks down on the earth and it shakes; he touches the mountains and they start to smolder.

Bow your heavens, LORD, and descend; touch the mountains, and they will smolder.
