'Surging' in the Bible

He reached down from above and grabbed me; he pulled me from the surging water.

You split the sea before them, and they crossed through the sea on dry ground! But you threw their pursuers into the depths, like a stone into surging waters.

and I said, 'You shall come up to here, but you shall not go further, and here it will set [a boundary] {for your proud surging waves}'?

You walked through the sea; you passed through the surging waters, but left no footprints.

You are ruling the surging of the sea. When its waves rise, {you yourself still} them.

More than the sound of surging waters the majestic waves of the sea the LORD on high is majestic.

Surging waters cannot quench love; floodwaters cannot overflow it. If someone were to offer all his possessions to buy love, the offer would be utterly despised.

This is what the Lord says—who makes a way in the sea,and a path through surging waters,

But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
