'Tasteless' in the Bible

Tasteless food isn't eaten without salt, is it? Is there any taste in an egg white?

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.

Salt is a good thing, but if the salt should become tasteless, what will you use to give it saltness? Have salt within you and live at peace with one another."

The salt is good, but if the salt doth become tasteless, with what shall it be seasoned?
