'Utters' in the Bible

The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom;his tongue speaks what is just.

Nations roar, kingdoms shake; he utters his voice, [the] earth melts.

They plan to cast him down from his exalted position. They delight in lies; their mouth utters blessings, while their heart is cursing. Interlude

To him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which are of old; behold, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.

Wisdom calls aloud in the street. She utters her voice in the public squares.

She calls out at the busiest part of the noisy streets, and at the entrance to the gates of the city she utters her words:

A false witness who utters lies,And one who spreads strife among brothers.

The one who conceals hatred utters lies, and the one who spreads slander is certainly a fool.

He who speaks truth [when he testifies] tells what is right,But a false witness utters deceit [in court].

An honest witness does not deceive,but a dishonest witness utters lies.

A truthful witness rescues lives,but one who utters lies is deceitful.

The tongue of the wise speaks knowledge that is pleasing and acceptable,But the [babbling] mouth of fools spouts folly.

The poor man utters supplications,But the rich man answers roughly.

A false witness will not go unpunished,and one who utters lies will not escape.

A [shortsighted] fool always loses his temper and displays his anger,But a wise man [uses self-control and] holds it back.

For your hands are stained with blood and your fingers with sin; your lips speak lies, your tongue utters malicious words.

The father whose sons you are is the Devil; and you desire to do what gives him pleasure. *He* was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand firm in the truth--for there is no truth in him. For one who speaks in an unknown tongue does not speak to people but to God; for no one understands him or catches his meaning, but by the Spirit he speaks mysteries [secret truths, hidden things].

Whoever speaks [to the congregation], is to do so as one who speaks the oracles (utterances, the very words) of God. Whoever serves [the congregation] is to do so as one who serves by the strength which God [abundantly] supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified [honored and magnified] through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever.
