자기 집 문에 앉으며 성읍 높은 곳에 있는 자리에 앉아서

She sits at the doorway of her house, On a seat by the high places of the city,

그 여종을 보내어 성중 높은 곳에서 불러 이르기를

그 때에 기생의 옷을 입은 간교한 계집이 그를 맞으니
