¹⁶ the Arvadites, the Zemarites and the Hamathites. ¹⁷ The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech. ¹⁸ Arpachshad became the father of Shelah and Shelah became the father of Eber.
