David Organizes The Levites

4 David said: Of these, twenty-four thousand are to supervise the work of Jehovah's Temple and six thousand are to be officials and judges. 5 and 4,000 were gatekeepers, and 4,000 were praising the Lord with the instruments which David made for giving praise. 6 David divided the Levites into groups corresponding to the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari.
