Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
1 Corinthians 3:1
So, for my part, brothers, I could not treat you as spiritual persons; I had to treat you just as creatures of flesh and blood, as babies in Christian living.
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside my childish ways.
Everyone has heard of your obedience, and I am very happy about you, but I want you to be wise about what is good and guileless about what is bad.
We must not be babies any longer, blown about and swung around by every wind of doctrine through the trickery of men with their ingenuity in inventing error.
And it is my prayer that your love may grow richer and richer in knowledge and perfect insight,
For although from the length of your Christian experience you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very elements of Christian truth, and you have come to need milk instead of solid food.
Let us therefore leave elementary Christian teaching alone and advance toward maturity. We must not be always relaying foundations, of repentance for wrong-doing, and of faith in God,
2 Peter 3:18
You must grow in the blessing and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory to him now and forever.
1 Corinthians 2:6
Yet there is a wisdom that we impart when we are with people who have a mature faith, but it is not what this world calls wisdom, nor what the authorities of this world, doomed as they are to pass away, would call so.
Let as many of us therefore as are mature have this attitude. If you have any different attitude, God will make this clear to you.
1 Corinthians 10:15
I appeal to your good sense. Make up your minds about what I say.
