Now there were in Antioch, in the assembly which was there, prophets and teachers; both Barnabas and Symeon who is called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenean, and Manaen, the foster-brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

But Paul and Barnabas tarried in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming, with many others also, the good tidings of the word of the Lord.

And a vision appeared to Paul by night: a certain man of Macedonia was standing, and beseeching him, saying, "Crossing over into Macedonia, help us!"

And, having passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews;

After these things, departing from Athens, he came to Corinth.

But we will not glory beyond our measure, but according to the measure of the limit which God apportioned to us as a measure, to reach even to you.

For from you has sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith toward God has gone forth; so that we have no need to speak anything;

For who makes you to differ? And what do you have, that you did not receive? But, if you did receive it, why are you boasting, as if you did not receive it?
