For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised.

and said, "Sir, we remember how that deceiver said, while he was still alive, 'After three days I will rise again.'

Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.

For he was teaching his disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and when he is killed, after three days he will rise."

"Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him to the Gentiles;

And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.

saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised."

For he will be delivered to the Gentiles, and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.

And as they were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?

Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."

On the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

To these he also presented himself alive after his suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.

this man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put him to death.

But God raised him from the dead;

because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given proof to all men by raising him from the dead."

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the eternal covenant,

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and enter his glory?"

For David says concerning him, 'I saw the Lord always before me; for he is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken.

But God raised him from the dead;

To this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so I stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen:
