Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He Who is in you, than he that is in the world.
Now is the judgment of this world: now will the Prince of this world be cast out;
What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
And we have known and believed the love which God hath in us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God abideth in him.
And we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit Who is of God; that we may know the things freely given us by God.
I write to you, fathers, because ye have known Him Who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because ye have conquered the evil one. I wrote to you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
We are of God; he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears us not: from this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
and they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony, and they loved not their soul, even to death.
and I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, nor shall any one snatch them out of My hand.
the Spirit of truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because it beholds Him not, neither knows Him: ye know Him, because He abideth with you, and will be in you.
I will no more speak much with you; for the Prince of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;
and respecting judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and lovedst them, even as Thou didst love Me.
And, if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.
Foods are for the stomach, and the stomach for foods; but God will bring to nought both this and these. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body;
in whom the god of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should not shine upon them.
And what agreement has a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God, as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
in which ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience;
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that ye, having been rooted and grounded in love,
because to us the struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Whosoever has been begotten of God sins not; because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin because he has been begotten of God.
And he that keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him; and in this we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit Whom He gave to us.
In this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit.
because all that has been begotten of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.
