The Reign Of Omri In Israel

²⁰ Everything else that Zimri did, including the account of his conspiracy, is recorded in The History of the Kings of Israel. ²¹ Then the people of Israel were divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; the other half followed Omri. ²² But the half that followed Omri was stronger than the half that followed Tibni, Ginath's son. Tibni died and Omri became king.
