War Between Elijah And The Prophets Of Baal

¹ Now it happened after many days that the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, “Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the face of the earth.” ² And Elijah went to show himself unto Ahab. And there was a severe famine in Samaria.

These have power to shut the heaven, that it not rain in the days of their prophecy and have power over the waters to turn them to blood and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
