¹⁷ And Zadok and Abiathar, the son of Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub, were priests; and Seraiah was the scribe; ¹⁸ And Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were priests.
