The Letter From The Council

²⁴ Forasmuch as we have heard, that some who went out from us, have troubled you by their discourses, unsettling your minds, saying, ye must be circumcised, and keep the law; to whom we gave no such commission; ²⁵ it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you, with our beloved brethren Barnabas and Paul, ²⁶ who have exposed their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
