³⁸ And Peter said to them, "Repent, and be immersed each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, unto remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit; ³⁹ for the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all those afar off??s many as the Lord our God shall call to Him." ⁴⁰ Also with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation!"
