A Survey Of The Kings Of The North And South

³ And a mighty king shall stand up, one who shall rule with great power and do according to his will. ⁴ And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken and shall be divided toward the four winds of the heavens. And it shall not be given to his sons, nor according to his power with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be pulled up, even for others besides these. ⁵ And the king of the south shall be strong. And one of his rulers, even he shall overcome him and have power. His kingdom shall be a great kingdom.

Daniel 8:8
