Daniel 6:2

And therefore the Kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.

So the master called him and said 'What is this that I hear about you? Give in your accounts, for you cannot act as steward any longer.'

He called ten of his servants and gave them ten pounds each, and told them to trade with them during his absence.

Now what we look for in stewards is that they should be trustworthy.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
