Daniel 9:24-27

24}

Seventy weeks^(a) are decreed^(A)
about your people and your holy city—
to bring the rebellion to an end,
to put a stop to sin,
to wipe away iniquity,
to bring in everlasting righteousness,^(B)
to seal up vision and prophecy,
and to anoint the most holy place.

Know and understand this:
From the issuing of the decree
to restore and rebuild Jerusalem^(C)
until Messiah^(D) the Prince^(b)
will be seven weeks and 62 weeks.^(c)
It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat,
but in difficult times.

After those 62 weeks^(d)
the Messiah will be cut off^(E)
and will have nothing.
The people of the coming prince
will destroy the city^(F) and the sanctuary.
The^(e) end will come with a flood,^(G)
and until the end there will be^(f) war;
desolations are decreed.

27}

He will make a firm covenant^(g)
with many for one week,^(h)
but in the middle of the week
he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering.
And the abomination of desolation^(H)
will be on a wing^(I) of the temple⁽ⁱ⁾^(j)
until the decreed destruction^(J)
is poured out on the desolator.”
