Og Lammene udskilte Jakob. Og han lod Dyrene vende Hovedet mod de stribede og alle de sorte dyr i Labans Hjord. På den Måde fik han sine egne Hjorde, som han ikke bragte sammen med Labans.

Jacob separated the lambs, and made the flocks face toward the striped and all the black in the flock of Laban; and he put his own herds apart, and did not put them with Laban's flock.
