Blessings And Curses

¹⁹ 'Cursed is he who wrests the justice [due] to the foreigner, fatherless, and widow.' All the people shall say, 'Amen.' ²⁰ 'Cursed is he who lies with his father's wife, because he has uncovered his father's skirt.' All the people shall say, 'Amen.' ²¹ 'Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.' All the people shall say, 'Amen.'

Deuteronomy 22:30

A man shall not take his father's wife, and shall not uncover his father's skirt.

Leviticus 18:8

"'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife: it is your father's nakedness.

Leviticus 20:11

"'The man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

1 Corinthians 5:1

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father's wife.
