Blessings And Curses

⁵⁸ “If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law which are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God, ⁵⁹ then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, even severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses. ⁶⁰ He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.

Deuteronomy 28:46

They shall become a sign and a wonder on you and your descendants forever.

Deuteronomy 29:20-28

The Lord shall never be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and His jealousy will burn against that man, and every curse which is written in this book will rest on him, and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven.

Deuteronomy 31:17-18

Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will come upon them; so that they will say in that day, ‘Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have come upon us?’

Deuteronomy 32:22

For a fire is kindled in My anger,
And burns to the lowest part of Sheol,
And consumes the earth with its yield,
And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Deuteronomy 32:26

‘I would have said, “I will cut them to pieces,
I will remove the memory of them from men,”

1 Kings 9:7-9

then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them, and the house which I have consecrated for My name, I will cast out of My sight. So Israel will become a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

Lamentations 1:9

Her uncleanness was in her skirts;

That the adversary and the enemy
Could enter the gates of Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:12

Thus He has confirmed His words which He had spoken against us and against our rulers who ruled us, to bring on us great calamity; for under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what was done to Jerusalem.

Hosea 3:4
