²³ If you do, I, Jehovah, will answer them when they cry out to me for help, ²⁴ and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless. ²⁵ When you lend money to any of my people who are poor, do not act like a moneylender and require him to pay interest.
