Instructions For Making The Ark Of The Covenant

¹⁵ The poles are to remain in the rings of the ark; they must not be removed from it. ¹⁶ Put the tablets of the testimony that I will give you into the ark. ¹⁷ Make a mercy seat of pure gold, 45 inches long and 27 inches wide.

Deuteronomy 31:26

“Take this book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God so that it may remain there as a witness against you.

1 Kings 8:9

Nothing was in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had put there at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelites when they came out of the land of Egypt.
