Ezekiel 18:22

who will recompense to every man according to his works;

THERE is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Be not deceived; God is not to be trifled with: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For I will be placable to their unrighteousnesses and their sins, and their iniquities I will never more remember."

But in these [sacrifices] there is a commemoration of sins every year.

Was not our father Abraham justified by works, when he offered up Isaac his son upon the altar?

My dear children, let no man deceive you: he who doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:
