Prophecy Directed At Edom

⁹ I will make you an everlasting desolation and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know [without any doubt] that I am the Lord. ¹⁰ “Because you [descendants of Esau] have said, ‘These two nations [Israel and Judah] and these two lands shall be mine, and we will take possession of them,’ although the Lord was there, ¹¹ therefore, as I live,” says the Lord God, “I will deal with you in accordance with the anger and envy you showed because of your hatred for them; and I will make Myself known among them [as Judge] when I judge and punish you.
