For land which drinks the rain that often falls upon it, and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God.

Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?

"For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.

Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Nor can salt water produce fresh.
