Genesis 1:27

And He, answering, said, "Did you not read that He Who made them from the beginning made them 'male and female,'

But from the beginning of the creation, 'Male and female made He them.'

For a man, indeed, ought not to veil his head; being God's image and glory; but the woman is man's glory;

for we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared, that we should walk in them.

and put on the new man, who after God was created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

Who is the image of the invisible God, Primal Source of all creation;

the mystery which has been hidden from the ages and from the generations, but was now made manifest to His saints;

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

For Adam first was formed, then Eve.
