Joseph Sold Into Slavery

²⁸ And there passed by certain Midianites travelling merchants, so they drew forth and uplifted Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites, for twenty pieces of silver, - and they brought Joseph into Egypt. ²⁹ And Reuben returned unto the pit, and lo Joseph was not in the pit, so he rent his clothes; ³⁰ and returned unto his brethren, and said, - The, lad, is not! And, I, oh where can I, go?
