Hosea 11:2

God Will Have Compassion

¹ When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. ² The more the prophets called them, the more they went from them: they sacrificed unto the Baalim, and burned incense to graven images. ³ Yet I taught Ephraim to walk; I took them on my arms; but they knew not that I healed them.

Hosea 2:13

And I will visit upon her the days of the Baalim, unto which she burned incense, when she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith Jehovah.
