Hosea 12:2

God's Case Against Jacob's Heirs

¹ Ephraim feeds on wind and follows after the east wind. He daily multiplies lies and cruelty. And they make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt. ² Jehovah also has a quarrel with Judah and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings He will repay him. ³ He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God.

Hosea 4:1

Hear the Word of Jehovah, sons of Israel. For Jehovah has a quarrel with the people of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Micah 6:2

Mountains, hear Jehovah's case, and the constant foundations of the earth. For Jehovah has a quarrel with His people, and He will plead His case with Israel.
